Event Summary
Join us for metrobar’s first-ever Oyster Fest! Here’s what to expect:
- Oysters from Who Wants Smoke Chargrilled Oysters and raw oysters from @dcshuckers
- Brass band music from Black Masala (2 PM – 5PM)
- House music with DJ Mazlow (5 PM – 9 PM)
- Cocktail specials, including the Pimm’s-inspired “Chinola Cup” and Chinola SnowCones
- Beer specials from the Black family-owned Maryland brewery, Liquid Intrusion
- Portion of sales will go to saving our waterways with the Anacostia Watershed Society, who will be onsite to discuss their mission of protecting and restoring the Anacostia River. DONATE TODAY!

Since 1989, the Anacostia Watershed Society is uniting the watershed communities with the shared goal of protecting and restoring the Anacostia River. You can find us out in the wetlands, in classrooms, and on the river itself as we work to restore natural systems, stop new pollution, and inspire people’s passion for a cleaner river.
