Event Summary

Join us for a special MLK Day Monday opening at metrobar, a day for food, drinks, music, and community! We’ll be joined by our neighbors at the Edgewood Brookland Family Support Collaborative, who work to create a beloved community in Ward 5 and beyond, honoring Dr. King’s legacy through neighborhood-based support that builds vibrant communities here in our city. EBFSC will be discussing their work, ways to support local families, and highlighting opportunities for service.

We’ll be featuring a number of local Black-owned businesses for the day, including Corner Water, Bailiwick, Liquid Intrusion, Soul Mega, Old Line, and District Flames:
