Made in DC Presents: Makers Mingle

On August 5th, DSBLD’s Made in DC program will host a “Makers Mingle” event. This event will host DC makers and those who support our local makers to meet each other and build and rebuild connections. This event will highlight and support our local makers as they prepare for the upcoming holiday market season. The format for the event will include:

Build Connections: Network with local government agencies/organizations that support DC makers and learn about upcoming market access opportunities!

Shop Local with Made in DC: The vendor market will showcase products of Made in DC businesses. Come and support our DC makers!

Pull-up and Pitch – DSLBD will facilitate a pitch competition for Made in DC certified/eligible businesses to pitch to a panel of judges to receive a pitch prize for the business to support market access. The pre-registered participants will have 3 min to pitch their business to receive between $250- $1500.
