The Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD) is excited to host this renetworking event as part of a series of engagements in summer 2022 partnership with DMV Black Restaurant Week (DMVBRW).
We invite Made in DC makers and those who support our local makers to join for this lightly formatted event to meet each other and to build and rebuild connections.
Join us at the beautiful outdoor venue of Metrobar DC. The mission of Metrobar is to connect people with DC culture through entertaining, collaborative, arts-driven, and authentic experiences. The venue features intimate and life-sized art installations, from the railcar itself to their murals, stage, screens, and other programmable segments. Their focus is local, both on the products they sell and the artists they highlight.
DMVBRW brings black restaurant owners, managers, chefs, caterers, thought leaders and financiers together throughout the year to highlight local owners and to discuss options for entrepreneurial ventures and continuing education.
DSLBD is hosting a series of renetworking events throughout summer 2022, as one of the greatest resources for small businesses & entrepreneurs are their networks. Over the past two years estimates are that on average personal networks shrank by at least 16%.
We are seeking to partner with organizations and businesses throughout DC to help bring the small business community together on topics and in places all across the city.
We are SO excited to partner with orgs that highlight and support local makers, the food and beverage industry, and artists.
Questions about this event or interested in partnering on additional RENETWORKING events? Please reach out to the Inno.ED team at DSLBD at Inno.ED@dc.gov.
