District Motherhued® is the premier 501c3 dedicated to millennial mothers of color in DC, MD, VA region with national support and acclaim. Our annual Holiday Shop N Play is our tribute to the innovativeness and entrepreneurial spirit of Black and Brown mamas. Held on Small Business Saturday, our bustling market features 25+ unique, local, Black-owned businesses curated to cater to our community.

This year’s market will be held at Metrobar in Washington, DC and feature the staples you’ve come to know and love like our Kiddie Corner and Story time with Black Santa! This holiday bazaar also features a s’mores pit, food trucks, music spins, and a bar! Perfect for the whole family!
