BEER RELEASE: Bourbon Barrel Aged Right Proper Senate Bock

We’ve teamed up on an exclusive collaboration with Right Proper Brewing, Cinder BBQ, and Beats Bars & Bourbon, filling our barrel select Laws Whiskey bourbon barrel with the perfect brew! We chose Senate Bock, the historic collab from Right Proper, Heurich House, and Lost Lagers, brewed here in DC until the 1940s and resurrected earlier this year. This is the first DC-made beer aged in a Laws Whiskey barrel, and the first time Right Proper has barrel aged Senate Bock.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Senate Bock is coming in at around 6% abv after 6 months of aging, with rich barrel notes enhancing the brew’s toast and caramel flavors. Get your first taste of this limited release during National Bourbon Heritage Month – we tap the kegs Thursday, Sept. 11, at metrobar before our Commanders watch party! The beer will be available while supplies last on draft at metrobar and both Right Proper locations, and by bottle pour at Cinder BBQ.
