Event Summary

Join us, the DC State Fair, and Pock3t for a 4th of July day party at metrobar. We’re opening early at 12:00PM for a fireworks pre-party for all our metrobar friends and family to enjoy a sun-soaked day at DC’s best outdoor bar!  Stop in from 12-9pm for:

 

  • Food trucks and ice cream vendors all day
  • The DC State Fair (12-4pm) hosting a cookie contest, bingo, and a hula hooping competition! To join the DC State Fair cookie contest, click here.
  • Beats and live music (3-6pm) with MC JusPaul, DJ KD, and Pock3t 7-piece youth Go-Go band
Pock3t (Pocket Three) is a 7-piece, youth Go-Go Music Band based in Annapolis. Their mission is to inspire youth around the world to recognize & participate in Go-Go music in their everyday lives. The band is currently lead by performer and educator, Paul “JusPaul” Spires, and they have performed at several festivals in the DMV.
